Exhibition: The One Minute Video Art Workshop

 In conjunction with the One Minutes Africa Awards This year, the One Minute Foundation, an international organization is focusing on Africa with an awards ceremony in Egypt.

Facilitator Kitty Dör...je took this opportunity to get submissions from ten artists from diverse backgrounds in Cape Town.
The artists spent a week conceptualizing, shooting and editing their one minute submissions in an interactive group environment.

The Thupelo Workshops bring artists from widely varying backgrounds together in a pressure cooker of creative exchange and artmaking.

For two weeks, thirteen artists spent each day creating new works using a vast repertoire of techniques and... styles, including Linocut, Etching and Screenprinting. The result is a veritable treasure hoard of imagery, colour, themes and textures.
